Competition Objective

The aim of the “TyroSafe Video Competition” is to create a short video (max. 5 minutes duration) that conveys the importance and raises awareness about the interactions among tyres, roads and safety. This connection of where, when and how the tyre hits the road is the subject of a European project named TYROSAFE….Tyre-road-safety. The video will be used to raise awareness and promote the Tyrosafe project at different exhibitions, seminars and project events. A panel of respected judges from the road research industry will decide on a winner.

What to create

Create a video informing people on the safety aspects of road surface, tyres, and on the interaction between these two through skid-resistance, noise-resistance, and/or rolling-resistance. It can be an advertisement, a marketing video, a demonstration, you can use illustration, or write a song and make a music video; the possibilities are endless! The maximum running time of the film (including credits) is five minutes.

Competition participants can use any information, demos, screen shots, images, etc. available on the Tyrosafe website to help create their video. No “copyright” infringing content (audio or video) can be included. All music and literary rights need to be cleared before entry. Videos using non-cleared material will not be considered. We will accept video entries in any language; however, foreign language videos must include English subtitles.
